The Smart Home app facilitates the configuration and operation of your free@home system, effectively transforming your residence into a sophisticated intelligent companion. This application allows for comprehensive control over various functions including blinds, lighting, heating, air conditioning, door communication, and customized light scenes. Users can individually access these features through a switch, voice commands, or via their smartphone or tablet. This capability allows for seamless operation of your home from virtually any location, whether within the premises or remotely around the globe.

Most functions are easily manageable through the Widget interface, removing the necessity to open the free@home App for quick adjustments. Local usage and remote accessibility via myABB Living Space boast strong security measures, utilizing top-tier point-to-point encryption to ensure safe connections. Furthermore, users can conveniently browse the Internet while simultaneously managing their heating and lighting systems or monitoring their status using a single mobile device.

Prerequisites for App Usage:

• The app requires an installed free@home system in your household.
• Integration into your home Wi-Fi network is necessary to grant access to your mobile devices.

Initial Setup for Professionals:

The PC, laptop, or tablet used for initial configuration must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the free@home System Access Point. Upon confirming this connection, refer to the section “Start of the free@home app.” If the System Access Point is not linked to your home Wi-Fi via a patch cable, establish a direct Wi-Fi connection to it. Verify that the left LED indicator on the System Access Point is lit green. If it is not, press the left button and hold until the LED illuminates permanently green. Subsequently, select the Wi-Fi connection named "SysAPxxx" in your network settings. The necessary security code for this connection is located on the back cover of the System Access Point. Your device will then connect directly with the System Access Point.

Launching the free@home App:

Enter your username and corresponding password. For first-time users, create a password by entering it twice as prompted. The app will then automatically detect your System Access Point and save your login credentials. Additional information regarding network settings can be found in the enclosed "BRIEF INSTRUCTIONS FOR USERS" document that accompanies the System Access Point.
